About Us

Welcome to Alexandria Research! My name is Rebecca Dodd and I am the owner and operator of this information enterprise.  I am highly experienced literature searching and synthesis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, including statistics.

I have worked in an eclectic range of different research fields and established this company to bring together all of my varied experience into a single business. I have experience as a librarian and information professional in education, universities, policy and in health, medicine and social care, as well as the arts and culture.

Professional development is very important to me, and I have gained qualifications in Management, PRINCE2, and  Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.  I am currently working my way through Agile. However, I started out life as a Classicist, completing my PhD on Seleucid coins, and later moving on to research the reception of the ancient world on modern Middle Eastern money.

Unsurprisingly, I chose to name my company after the Great Library of Alexandria, which was one of the earliest and most important libraries and information centres.
